S.D. Mayes is the author of Letters to the Pianist, which is her first historical suspense novel, released in autumn 2017.
She has previously published a young adult novel, Stop the World, and written an internationally best-selling self-help book.
A former journalist for national newspapers and magazines, she is British with a teenage daughter, and lives with her family and their book-loving cat, Saphy, in Berkshire, UK.
